The story of One Bloor West
One Bloor West, originally launched as The One, took more than a decade to rise at 1 Bloor Street West in Toronto — through demolition, approvals, a height debate, receivership and a change of builder.
Today the tower is topped off at 85 storeys and about 308.6 metres, making it Canada's first supertall. Tridel is completing construction and preparing a 2026 sales relaunch, with completion estimated in early 2028.
